Bill Daugherty, a fan of the legendary Andrews Sisters since childhood, later befriended both Patty and Maxene Andrews and maintained a close association with them until their passing. He has one of the premier collections of their recordings and memorabilia. Bill was interviewed and featured in a recent BBC documentary on The Andrews Sisters entitled: Queens of the Music Machines He arranged for long-time friend, singer Margaret Whiting to be interviewed by the team as well and it is one of the last on camera interviews Miss Whiting was to make.
